1920〜30年代のフランスで仕立てられていたオーダーメイドコートをデザインソースに製作。
素材にはコットン100%のオックスフォード生地を使用し、糸の細さによって生まれる繊細な表面感を引き出しています。
さらに硫化ムラ染めを施した後、パラフィン加工を加えることで、ハリのある硬質な風合いと、着用を重ねることで変化していく表情を持たせています。
ワークウェアに通じる機能性を備えながら、オーダーメイドコートを思わせる端正な佇まい。
生地の経年変化とともに、その人それぞれの着方へと馴染んでいく一着です。
※第一釦を外すと小さめのテーラードラペルとして着用できます。
Designed with reference to bespoke coats tailored in France in the 1920s and ’30s.
Made from 100% cotton oxford cloth, chosen to bring out the delicate surface texture created by its fine yarns.
The fabric is given an uneven sulfur dye and then a paraffin treatment, which gives it a firm, crisp hand and a character that evolves with every wear.
It has the functionality of workwear alongside the refined presence of a made-to-order coat.
As the fabric ages, it gradually adapts to the way each person wears it.
*With the top button undone, the coat can be worn with a small tailored lapel.
