1920年代フランスのハンティングジャケットをベースにデザインした一着。
当時のハンティングウェアが持つ、道具としての機能性と無骨な佇まいをベースに、OUTILの視点で現代的に仕立てています。
素材にはオックスフォード生地を使用。
糸の細工によって生地表面に独特の表情を持たせ、さらに硫化ムラ染めを施すことで、均一ではない奥行きのある色味に仕上げています。
そこへパラフィン加工を加えることで、適度なハリとコシを生み、着込むほどに生地の表情が変化していく素材に。
ワークウェアやハンティングウェアに見られる実用性を残しながら、素材の加工やディテールによって、日常の中で長く着用できる一着へと落とし込んでいます。
着用を重ねることで生地が馴染み、加工による表情も徐々に変化していく、時間とともに育てていけるジャケットです。

This jacket is based on a French hunting jacket from the 1920s.
Drawing on the practical functionality and rugged character of hunting wear from that era, it has been reinterpreted for today through OUTIL’s perspective.
The fabric is an oxford cloth. Special yarn work gives the surface a distinctive texture, and uneven sulfur dyeing creates a rich, layered color with natural variation rather than a flat, uniform tone.
A paraffin finish is then applied, giving the fabric a pleasant body and firmness, and allowing its character to evolve the more it is worn.
While retaining the practicality found in workwear and hunting wear, the fabric treatments and details make it a piece that can be worn for years as part of everyday life.
With each wear, the fabric softens and molds to the body, and the finish gradually develops its own character. This is a jacket that grows with you over time.
