Designed based on a French work jacket from the 1940s.
Drawing on an analysis of the textured fabrics found in 1930s French workwear, we used twisted cotton yarn for the warp and wool for the weft. A dobby weave creates stripes with a distinctive, characterful look.
Combining cotton and wool, this piece is defined by the appealing texture and hand of its fabric.
