1930年代頃のフランスのオーダーメイドトラウザーズをベースに製作。
生地には、
超高密度に織り上げたツイルを使用し、
幾重にも特殊加工を施すことで、
紙のようなドライな質感と、
ナイロンのような滑らかさを併せ持つ表情に仕上げています。
程よい光沢感を持たせることで、
湿度の高い季節にも自然に馴染む素材感を目指しました。
幾度も重ねたインディゴ染めの上から、
柿渋染め、さらに鉄媒染を施すことで、
奥行きのある色合いに。
職人の手作業によって生まれる、
一点ごとに異なる表情も特徴です。
Based on bespoke French trousers believed to date back to the 1930s.
Constructed from an ultra high-density twill fabric,
finished through repeated special treatments to achieve a texture that feels both dry like paper and smooth like nylon.
A subtle sheen was added to naturally suit the humid spring and summer seasons.
The color is created through multiple layers of indigo dyeing, followed by persimmon tannin dye and iron mordant finishing, resulting in a deep and complex tone.
Each piece develops a slightly different expression through the hands of the craftsmen involved in the process.
