1940年代フランスの、
縦横のバランスが崩れたワークジャケットをベースに製作。
異常なまでに横へ広がる独特なシルエットを残しながら、
現代的なバランスへ再構築しています。
生地には超高密度ツイルを使用。
特殊加工を幾重にも重ねることで、
ナイロンのようでもあり、紙のようでもある、
独特なドライタッチに仕上げました。
わずかに光沢を持たせることで、
無機質な質感の中にも奥行きを加えています。
カラーは、
幾度も重ねたインディゴ染めの上から、
柿渋染め、さらに鉄媒染を施すことで完成した色目。
職人の手作業によって、
深みと鈍さを持った独特な表情に仕上げています。
Inspired by a 1940s French work jacket with distorted proportions and an unusually wide silhouette.
The original balance has been carefully reconstructed into a more modern form while preserving its distinctive character.
The fabric is a super high-density cotton twill,
treated repeatedly with special finishing techniques to create a dry texture reminiscent of both nylon and paper.
A subtle sheen adds depth to the otherwise inorganic surface.
The color is achieved through multiple layers of indigo dyeing,
followed by kakishibu (traditional persimmon tannin dye) and iron mordant treatment.
Each piece is finished by hand,
resulting in a deep, muted texture with a unique presence.
