1940年代フランスのリゾートウェアをベースに、
19世紀のインディゴ抜染プリントのショールから着想を得て製作されたシャツです。
生地はオリジナルで構築し、可抜染料で下地を整えた後、
インディゴ染めを重ねることで、奥行きのある色合いに仕上げています。
約100cmの版を用いた手染めによる大判プリントは、
機械では表現できない揺らぎやムラが特徴で、
一点ごとに異なる表情を持ちます。
着用とともにインディゴ特有の経年変化も楽しめ、
時間の経過とともにさらに深みを増していきます。
Inspired by 1940s French resort wear,
this shirt draws from 19th-century indigo discharge-printed shawls.
The fabric is originally developed, with a dischargeable base prepared before layering indigo dye,
resulting in a deep and dimensional color.
The large-scale print, created by hand using approximately 100cm blocks,
features natural irregularities and variations that cannot be replicated by machines.
Each piece carries its own unique expression.
With wear, the indigo will age beautifully,
developing further depth and character over time.
